The course is a highly interactive learning programme of lectures, debates, dialogues, role-playing sessions, panel discussions and drafting of policy briefs facilitated by leading experts. The eight modules of the course address key issues confronting forests and forestry in the Asia-Pacific region with an emphasis on how they will shape the future. Particular thrust is given to sharing participants’ experiences and analyzing case studies. Field visits to nearby localities will further provide an opportunity to learn what is really happening on the ground and how forestry is adapting to meet the field realities.
