FAO/APFIC Regional Workshop to Support the Implementation of
the 2009 FAO Port State Measures Agreement

Objective

The objective of the Workshop is to develop capacity and promote bilateral, sub‐regional and regional coordination to strengthen and harmonize port State measures to implement the Port State Measures Agreement. The Workshop will contribute to the implementation of the call to develop Port State Measures contained in the 2007 RPOA adopted by certain Southeast Asian and other States to combat IUU fishing.
