09 May 2007 -- Bangkok – On 8 May the National Chief Vetinarian Officer of China - Jin Youling, Director-General of the Veterinary Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of the People's Republic of China - officially informed the CVO of FAO that in early May 2007 an epidemic of pigs was found in Laosi town, Yuncheng district in Guangdong province.
