The FAO South West Pacific Ministers for Agriculture meet biennially to discuss the priorities for development assistance. Each meeting is updated on the development of agriculture, forestry and fisheries in the FAO Pacific member states. The decisions by the Ministers help to guide activities in these sectors by FAO, the member countries, and other development partners. The 2011 Ministerial meeting was the 9th in the series.
