The BEFS/GTZ website is targeted towards different groups interested in bioenergy and food security such as policy makers, farmers associations, investors, the energy sector, civil society etc.). The aim of the site is to provide guidance for decision-makers in the field of bioenergy and food security and increase awareness of the impacts that bioenergy production can have on food security, particularly in developing countries.
