About the event: The side-event will be held on 18 June 2013 from 6:00-7:30 PM. Participants at the side event will include high-level representatives from LDCs and their development partners as well as UN system organizations.

Aims and Topics: The side event aims to provide ministerial/high-level policy makers from LDCs and their development partners with the opportunity to forge consensus on ways to address food security challenges through sustainable agriculture development, structural transformation and international development cooperation.
