The purpose of this side event is to inform participants about ICARDA’s current research portfolio and provide insight into one of the new CGIAR Research Programmes led by ICARDA to address the challenges of food insecurity, to share experiences on ongoing collaboration between ICARDA and FAO and to identify areas for future collaboration, focusing on agricultural research for development in the Near East region.
