The European Union and Germany have published a position paper on Cameroon’s proposed timber legality verification and traceability system, the Système informatisé de gestion des informations forestières – SIGIF2, accessible here.

The EU and Germany, through its development cooperation agency, have reiterated their firm commitment to the VPA-FLEGT process in Cameroon, to end illegal logging and associated trade.
