La situation mondiale des pêches et de l'aquaculture brosse un tableau mondial, statistiques et tendances à l'appui, des pêches et de l'aquaculture. Le rapport présente les questions qui font débat aux quatre coins de la planète et formule des hypothèses pour l'avenir, de façon à fournir l'aperçu le plus à jour des tendances et perspectives mondiales du secteur des pêches et de l'aquaculture. Ce numéro développe des thèmes en rapport avec les pêches et l'aquaculture qui sont de nature a susciter une attention croissante : changement climatique, exploitation des ressources génétiques marines dans des zones situées hors de toute juridiction nationale, et prolifération des systèmes de normes et de certification prives dans le domaine du commerce international du poisson. Quelques études spéciales de la FAO y sont également mises en exergue, notamment des travaux sur l'utilisation des ressources halieutiques sauvages a des fins de reproduction et l'alimentation des animaux d'aquaculture et des analyses des pêches à la crevette et de la gestion des pêches de capture marines dans l'océan Pacifique. El estado mundial de la pesca y la acuicultura presenta un panorama mundial de la pesca y la acuicultura que comprende las tendencias y las estadísticas del sector. En él se ponen de relieve aspectos debatidos en todo el mundo y se perfilan escenarios para el futuro con miras a facilitar la visión global y las perspectivas más actuales en el ámbito mundial sobre la pesca y la acuicultura. En esta edición se analizan algunos de los aspectos que es posible que se preste una atención creciente.
