4th Dialogue on Action for Climate Empowerment
This regular forum gives Parties and other stakeholders a chance to share experiences and exchange ideas regarding the implementation of article 6 of the Convention. Article 6 stipulates the promotion of education, training and public awareness on climate change.
The 4th Dialogue will be organized in two sessions which will include presentations on good practices and lessons learned followed by working-group discussions.

Putting Paris Agreement into practice: the changing climate finance landscape for agriculture
The Paris Agreement commits developed countries to set a new collective financing goal of at least 100 billion US dollars per year from 2020. Agricultural Action for Food Security Post-COP21
The side event will focus on how to enhance action in agriculture with a view to more effectively adapting to climate change and ensuring food security. The side event will focus on linking the NDC (Nationally Determined Contributions) process and climate finance to large-scale adaptation action at country level. Speakers will include FAO; representatives of the German Ministry of Agriculture (BMEL); a representative from IFAD; and representatives of developing countries who will be invited to share their experiences and outline their concrete needs for support.
