The first part of the document provides an overview of the general structure of the UNFCCC and its different bodies and entities, as well as the evolution of the item on agriculture in the international negotiations from the adoption of the Convention to the adoption of the Koronivia decision. The document then focuses on detailing the main features and ambitions of the Koronivia Joint Work on Agriculture, as well as the mandates and agriculture-oriented actions that are implemented by the Constituted Bodies or financed by the Financial Mechanism (GEF – GCF), the Adaptation Fund, the Least Developed Countries (LDC) Fund, and the Special Climate Change Fund.
