This session presents successful climate-smart agricultural practices and discusses innovative ways to combine incentives to agriculture with the strengthening of forest governance through REDD+. 18:15 - 19:45 Climate Services for AdaptationThis side event is organized by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), in partnership with Global Climate Observing System (GCOS), the FAO and Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD). It will provide information on the "Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS)" established by the World Climate Conference-3 (WCC-3). GFCS guides the development of climate services that link science-based climate predictions and information with climate-risk management and adaptation to climate variability and change throughout the world.
