Civil Society Dialogue on Climate-Smart Agriculture Date: 29 November 2011 Venue: Suncoast Hotel and Towers - Delano Room - The "Climate-smart agriculture" (CSA) concept is receiving a lot of attention. It was originally presented by FAO in 2010 in the publication Climate-smart Agriculture: Policies, Practices and Financing for Food Security, Adaptation and Mitigation. Given the rapid development of climate-smart agriculture, FAO seeks to engage with stakeholders to ensure that there is a constructive dialogue and a shared understanding of the concept. For this reason, FAO invites representatives of Civil Society Organizations to a first "CSO dialogue on CSA" on 29 November 2011, following the sessions of the Climate-smart Knowledge Day.
