مصطلحات منظمة الأغذية والزراعة - اسماء البلدان - من هذا المنطلق أعدّت المنظمة قاعدة مصطلحات المنظمة (FAOTERM) بهدف توحيد وتنسيق الكمّ الهائل من المصطلحات المستخدمة في وثائق المنظمة والمطبوعات الصادرة عنها. وتسعى أيضاً قاعدة البيانات عن أسماء البلدان في المنظمة إلى تيسير التشاور بشأن أسماء البلدان وتوحيدها على مستوى المنظمة ككلّ تتوفر هنا عدة خيارات لخلق ملف مكيّف بحسب الحاجة بقوائم وقواعد بيانات أسماء البلدان
