New Information and Communication Technologies and Women's Promotion

Workshop in Rabat (Morocco) from 10-11 June 2004

This workshop was organised AMSED, Association Marocaine de Solidarité et Développement (Moroccan Association for Solidarity and Development), Dimitra's partner organisation in Morocco. Over 30 rural women from cooperatives based throughout Morocco  took an active part in the event.

In total around 70 people participated over the two days. As well as the members of cooperatives and associations, were representatives from NGOs, international organisations and Ministries. Also present was Fatou Sow from Dimitra partner Enda-Pronat in Senegal, who shared the experiences of the Rural Women's Network of Senegal with participants at the workshop.
