The CECAF Project convened a Working Group of selected scientists to examine the state of demersal fish stocks from Cape Timiris to Cape Palmas and to recommend management measures. The group met in Dakar from 14 to 19 November 1977 at CRODT under the chairmanship of Dr. S. Garcia of CRODT.
The CECAF Project recognizes the cooperation of Mr. L. Sauger, the Director of "Institut Sénégalais des Recherches Agricoles" (ISRA) and Mr. J. Chabanne, the Director of the "Centre de Recherches Océanographiques de Dakar-Thiaroye" (CRODT) in the organization of this Working Group. The following scientists participated:
