VII. 1999 WORK PLAN

41. A detailed discussion was carried out on the future work plan for the TAMNET trials, and a general agreement was reached. The agreed 1999 work plan for the Regional Hybrid Maize Trials is shown in Table 1.

42. Dr. N.N. Singh undertook the responsibility for the preparation, editing and bringing out the Newsletter from the beginning. He has done a commendable job so far, and he is willing to continue this task. The TAMNET Coordinators of the various countries were requested to continue to act as focal points in their countries in handling manuscripts and distributing the Newsletter.
