* Maximum scores allowed are, for instance, 60% kilocalories from cereal group (score = 60% × 0.5 = 30), 20% kilo-calories from animal products (score = 29% × 2.0 = 40), etc. Over and above the maximum score limit, there will beno additional score to the diet from that food group. For example, 85% kilocalories from the cereal group willscore 30 and not (85% × 0.5 = 42.5), similarly 45% kilocalories from animal products will score 40and not (45% × 2.0 = 90).
