This publication was jointly prepared by FAO’s Nutrition Programmes Service (ESNP) and the Population and Development Service (SDWP). It is based largely on lessons learned during FAO field programmes - in particular, food security and livelihood projects conducted under FAO’s partnership with the Belgian Survival Fund.
