91. The Commission was informed of the progress of the Regional Data Exchange System (RDES) through Document APCAS/04/15, "Progress and Future Activities on Project, GCP/RAS/184/JPN, Strengthening RDES on Food and Agricultural Statistics in Asia and Pacific Countries".
92. The Commission was reminded that sixteen developing member countries participated in the project and that these countries had made several suggestions to attain the objectives of the project during the second meeting of Focal Points in Bangkok, Thailand in March 2003.
93. The Commission was advised that the Third Focal Points meeting would be held in October 2004 to review the status of the current project and to introduce the work plan for the second phase of the project.
