A group of students from the FAO Forestry Training Centre at Conocoto, Ecuador, trying out a new log-loading trailer This centre, financed by the United Nations Development Programme, has been in operation since 1966 and has already served to expand the number of trained foresters available in Ecuador which has a high forestry potential. The FAO Project Manager is R. Clopés Boix (Spain). Ecuador will host the eleventh session of the FAO Latin, American Forestry Commission in November 1970.
