In response to the initiatives proposed by the Chairperson of the Codex Alimentarius Commission, the Delegation of Thailand offered to provide the venue for the 34th Session of the Committee in Thailand, in October - November 2001. The Committee was informed that the decision on the site selection could not be taken at present time. The Delegations would be informed about the precise venue and the dates in due course.
