CHANGES MADE IN APPROVED SESSIONS BETWEEN 1 JANUARY AND 31 OCTOBER 1974

2.3.3.3.FI 860Government Consultation on Codes of Practice for Fish and Fishery Products was originally scheduled as an Expert Consultation on the same subject. The category was changed from (3) to (2) to permit a larger number of participants, who are selected from Member Nations which are major producers or consumers. No change in costs involved.
   
2.3.3.3.FI 862FAO/OAS Regional Training Course on Fish Inspection and Quality Control in Latin America was originally scheduled as a Government Consultation on the same subject to be convened under Article VI-5(2). The Training Course is not convened under any Article of the Constitution. The direct costs remain the same - i.e. nil.
   
2.5.2.2.FI 805The Sixth Session of CARPAS (Regional Fishery Advisory Commission for the South-West Atlantic) was extended to include a related symposium. This involved a three-day extension of the session and an increase in cost of $5 000. Funds to cover this were obtained from adjustments within the Fisheries Department's budgetary allocation.
   
2.5.3.2.ESC 826The session of the Intergovernmental Group on Bananas, Sub-group on Statistics was extended to include a session of the Sub-Group of Exporters. This increased the length of the session by one day and the cost by $1 100. The additional cost was absorbed within the Commodity Division's budgetary allocation
