Election of Four Members to the UN/FAO Intergovernmental Committee of the World Food Programme 1

7. The Council elected the following four Member Nations to the UN/FAO Intergovernmental Committee of the World Food Programme (IGC), for a term of office of three years (1 January 1976 to 31 December 1978)

Congo
Indonesia
Netherlands

Conditional Election of Three Additional Members of the Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes 1

8. The Council noted that the Eighteenth Conference Session had adopted a resolution on the reconstitution of the Intergovernmental Committee of the UN/FAO World Food Programme into a Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes. It therefore elected, conditional upon the adoption of this resolution by the Thirtieth Session of the UN General Assembly, the following countries to be, in addition to the countries it had elected to the IGC, members of the proposed Committee on Food Aid Policies and Programmes:

Australia 2
Nicaragua 3
Uganda 4
