1. The Seventy—sixth Session of the Council was held in Rome from.6 to 8 Novmber 1979 2.under the Chairmanship of Bukar Shaib, Independent Chairman of the Council.
2. The Agenda and Timetable of the Session were adopted. The Agenda as adopted is given in Appendix A to this Report.
3. The Council elected three Vice—Chairmen for its Session: C.O. Keller Sarmiento (Argentina), M.A. Papageorgiou (Greece) and J. Ziska (Czechoslovakia).
4. The Council elected A. Echeverria Zuno (Mexico) as Chairman of the Drafting Committee, and the following as members: Australia, France, Ghana, Lebanon, Mexico, Philippines Sweden, the United States of America and Zaire.
