I wish to express my sincere gratitude; in 1993 I received all four marvellous issues of Unasylva - the varied and excellent material they contain are extremely valuable in helping to disseminate a harmonious, rich and intense image of forestry and forest science. I would ask that you again consider me for a free subscription in 1994.

I write this to thank you most sincerely for authorizing our subscription to your esteemed publication, Unasylva. I was very pleased to receive the three recent issues of the magazine. The focus on a particular theme and the worldwide sweep of the contents are the striking features of all issues. Each of the articles is full of insight, and the facts, figures, analyses and viewpoints presented give a fair perspective on the subject chosen. It is a most rewarding and satisfying experience for any forestry professional to go through your illuminating and well-researched magazine.
We are in the process of establishing a State Forest Research Centre for developing our State Forest Department's capacity in certain areas, such as resource assessment, tree improvement, biofertilizer and biotechnologies and the development of cost-effective models of locally relevant reforestation. We also have a chain of centres for in-service training of departmental forestry staff. I can assure you that Unasylva will be put to use by a wide readership engaged in the cause of forestry.

I wish to ask you kindly for a subscription to Unasylva. I have never seen it or read it, but as far as I have heard from many people, it is most interesting.

I would like to subscribe for one year to the impressive magazine, Unasylva. Since I am a student at the Forestry Department of the Agricultural University of Wageningen, me articles in Unasylva are certainly relevant for my study and interest. It is quite a unique gathering of experiences and knowledge, unbeatable for people who are concerned about the ecology of nature, depletion of natural resources and degradation of the environment. I take this opportunity to congratulate you for Unasylva's role in the exchange of ideas and knowledge.
