11. Post-enumeration survey

11. Post-enumeration survey

Quality control surveys or Post enumeration surveys are used to check the quality of responses and coverage. Measures of reliability are used to evaluate the consistency of the responses. Consistency is measured as a function of the differences between matched responses of the same individual taken at different times.

Post enumeration surveys should be used, in particular, to check the quality of responses concerning population data. These post-enumerations surveys are affected by the same sex biases as of those corresponding to the census or survey.
