No results found.This is the flyer of the Working Group 3 “Protective Functions of Forests” of the European Forestry Commission Working Party on the Management of Mountain Watersheds. Working Group 3 – “Protective Functions of Forests” is dedicated to the protective functions that forests provide particularly to mountainous watersheds. The Working Group aims at strengthening international, scientific, political and management dialogues to better understand and enable the functions that forests can provide against natural hazards, as well as to exchange experiences on past or current challenges. The main purpose of the Working Group is to identify and share management practices and experiences through scientific articles, papers, workshops and field trips, and to exchange experiences among specialists, scientists, policy and decision makers, practitioners and all other involved stakeholders.
