The Policy Assistance Support Service of FAO has opened the internal forum for participants who attended the training course "Impact Assessment of Development Policies Using Static and Dynamic Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) Models", held at FAO Rome, from June 27 to July 8 2011.
The forum, funded by the FAO Multi-donor Mechanism (FMM), is intended to be a neutral and common platform where we can all:
- further discuss the contents of the training course;
- share our knowledge on the topics related to the use of a CGE for policy analysis; and
- mutually support the subsequent modelling experience with the participants once they are back in their own institutions.
Maintaining the team spirit
Participants are offered the opportunity to interact, learn and collaborate with FAO project team and researchers of the other institutions involved, with an aim of exploring the use of a general equilibrium model for policy analysis approach to address emerging and future policy issues.
