Job Title

Marco graduated at University of Roma La Sapienza with a thesis in International Economics dealing with the commercial effects of the Eastward European Union Enlargement of 2004. After a couple of years as a researcher with international trade institutes, he started his PhD at the Economics Department of University of Bologna, and dealt with Food Security and Poverty Assessment, with a particular focus on the case study of assessing the Resilience in Kenya. As a Desk Officer Assistant for an Italian NGO, Movimondo he went to India for a Monitoring and Evaluation Mission in Gujarat. From Sept 2008 to Sept 2009 he worked at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), in Rome, as a researcher on social issues.He has conducted with FAO the Resilience analysis in Kenya and is now involved in an Impact Assessment of a Microfinance Project In South Korodfan, Sudan
