Our Methodological work

  • Develop equations and methodologies for imputation and quality control of the Fertilizers, Pesticides, Land Use data collected through questionnaires
  • Develop methodologies for the calculation of new agri-environmental statistics and indicators (e.g., livestock manure, GHG emissions)
  • Develop methodologies for processing and interpreting geospatial data, and for their use to complement and quality check national data sources on land use and land cover
  • Link the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries to Natural Capital and Ecosystem Accounting

 

News: SEEA Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Published!

Rome, March 31st 2020. FAO and UNSD jointly publish today the System of Environmental-Economic Accounting for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (SEEA AFF). Environmental-economic accounts for Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries provide a coherent statistical framework for natural capital assessment on issues of importance to food systems.
