The Ministry of Agriculture, Water & Water Resources today announced the official launch of CountrySTAT Burkina Faso, a Web-based information system that delivers improved access to better quality statistics on food and agriculture at national and subnational levels.

Representatives from several national institutions attended the launch ceremony for CountrySTAT Mali in the national capital today. The ceremony was chaired by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fousseny Mariko, and attracted attendees from Mali's food and agricultural and statistics sectors, as well as local media.
