Description
Announced that it would purchase 1.0 million tonnes of rice and 100 000 tonnes of paddy from the 2014-2015 Boro harvest. The procurement drive is to run between May and September 2015 and will offer Taka 22 per kilo of paddy (USD 276 per tonne) and Taka 32 per kilo (USD 402 per tonne) of rice.
