Description
Launched the "Colombia Siembra" plan with the aim of putting an additional 1.0 million hectares of land under cultivation of various crops, including rice, in three years and cutting reliance on imports. The plan will see Pesos 1.6 trillion (USD 528 million) invested infrastructural improvements, research and development, as well as inputs and machinery through 2018.
