Description
Opened applications to the private sector to import 805 200 tonnes of rice under Minimum Access Volume (MAV) country-specific and omnibus quotas. Imported volumes are to comprise specialty rice and/or well-milled rice with less than 25% brokens. They will be liable to a 35 percent import duty and are to arrive in the country no later than 28 February 2017.
