Description
Agreed to pay EGP 6.3 per kilo (USD 347 per tonne) of rice purchased from private processors, in order to supply it at a subsidised rate of EGP 6.5 per kilo (USD 358 per tonne) through Government outlets. As part of the agreement reached with processors, millers would supply a minimum of 200 tonnes per month to the Government for four months.
