Description
Approved the expansion of the tariff rate quotas (TRQs) allocated to a number of agricultural products from Ukraine. In the grains sector, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe approved the opening of annual duty free TRQs of 100 000 tonnes of wheat, 650 000 tonnes of maize and 650 000 tonnes of barley. This is in addition to the pre-existing duty free TRQs of 950 000 tonnes of wheat, 400 000 tonnes of maize and 250 000 tonnes of barley.
