Description
Introduced a number of structural and transparency measures to strengthen further the implementation of the Growth Enhancement Scheme, under which rice, wheat, maize and groundnut farmers are eligible for support. The new policies include increasing government participation in the redemption of claims, introducing fertilizer stock tracking, and the adoption of a single commodity value chain based on comparative advantage.
