Description
Revised upwards the minimum farmgate price for maize to RWF 200 per kg (USD 244 per tonne), from RWF 160 (USD 212.8 per tonne) set a year ago. This measure aims to curb illegal maize trade and allow the market to absorb the maize expected to be produced in the upcoming season.
