Granted financial support to 30 projects promoting development of the coconut sector in five different states, focusing on research initiatives and projects on processing and product diversification.
Notes
Indias Coconut Development Board announced that it will support 30 projects with an aggregate value of INR 313.4 million (USD 4.8 million). The boards own financial contribution will amount to INR 63.9 million (USD 0.98 million). The approved projects will be implemented in five different states and comprise 8 research projects and 22 projects on processing and product diversification.
