Description
Decided to leave the import tariffs on sunflower seed, oil and meal at their reduced levels, to ensure that domestic demand for edible oils was met.
Notes
To stimulate imports and ensure that domestic demand for edible oils is met, the Government decided to temporarily lower the import tariffs for sunflower seed and oil. From 5 June to 1 August, the import duty for the seed was reduced from 27 to 13 percent, while that for oil stood at 23 percent instead of 36 percent.
