Description
Announced the provisional implementation, from 21 September 2017, of the Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement (CETA), which entails the elimination of the EU\'s tariffs on Canadian rapeseed oil imports.
Notes
The Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the EU and Canada has entered into force provisionally on 21 September 2017. Concerning oilseeds, the agreements implementation entails the elimination from day one of the EUs tariffs on Canadian rapeseed oil imports (see MPPU Dec.16). CETAs full and definitive application remains contingent upon ratification by all EU Member State parliaments.
