Description
Nigeria explored possibilities for Indonesia to collaborate in the development of the country\'s palm oil industry. Furthermore, Nigeria was encouraged to join the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries, a body set up by Indonesia and Malaysia to promote price stabilization and sustainable palm oil production.

In line with on-going efforts to promote economic cooperation and bilateral trade between Nigeria and Indonesia, government representative from both sides agreed to collaborate in the development of Nigerias palm oil industry. Nigeria was also invited to join the Council of Palm Oil Producing Countries (CPOPC). The Council was established recently by Indonesia and Malaysia, in a bid to promote price stabilization and sustainable palm oil production.
