CANADA rapeseed/soybean R&D: New government funding will be made available to enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of the countrys rapeseed and soybean industries. The Canola Council of Canada and the Eastern Canada Oilseed Development Alliance will receive support under the AgriInnovation Program to conduct research on: new uses of rapeseed as animal feed; pest management and disease resistance; yield enhancement and stress resistance; economic and environmental sustainability; and market opportunities for food-grade soybeans.
