Description
Announced that, in order to avert further increases in domestic quotations in the aftermath of damages inflicted by floods, the Myanmar Rice Federation and member companies would halt all rice exports with immediate effect. Shipments abroad are not expected to be resumed until mid-September, or when new supplies arrive into the market from main-crop harvests.
