Import quota
Description
Established an annual, duty-free, import quota for 70 000 tonnes of paddy and husked rice originating in the Lao PDR, effective from 14 February 2016 to 03 October 2020. Paddy and husked rice imports conducted outside of this quota will also be entitled to a 50 percent duty reduction over the period to 2.5 percent.
