Description
Announced that 5 kilos of rice would be distributed to beneficiaries of the Samurdhi programme, as part of its 2017 budgetary allocations. The measure would come in addition to an expanded network of Lak Sathosa outlets in order to enhance vulnerable groups\' access to rice and other foodstuffs at affordable prices.
