Description
Allocated Pesos 500 million (USD 12 million) to encourage greater hybrid rice cultivation in 2013 and 2014. The initiative aims to raise hybrid rice coverage to 284 000 has in 2013 and to 390 000 has the following year, up from an estimated 165 000 has in 2012.
