Support prices, warehouse receipts
Description
Paddy support prices set by the National Rice Commission at Pesos 1 950 - 2 050 per 120 kilo fanega (USD 372 - 391 per tonne) of ambar, prosequisa 4, prosequisa 5 and idiaf 1 varieties harvested during the spring of 2014. Applicable paddy prices will be Pesos 2 125-2 225 per 120 kilo fanega (USD 406 -425 per tonne) for jaragua, puita, juma 67, yokahu and quisqueya varieties. Government agreed to operate the national warehouse receipts programme between 1 April and 31 December 2014.
