Description
Raised government paddy procurement prices for the 2012 season by 18 percent to US$378 per tonne (yuan 120 per 50 kilo bag) of early indica rice, by 17 percent to US$394 per tonne (125 yuan per 50 kilo bag) of late/intermediate indica rice, and by 9 percent to US$441 per tonne (yuan 140 per 50 kilo bag) of japonica rice.
